Integrations

What Ancor connects to, and what it does not.

A short list, kept honest. Every integration below says which way the data moves and who can switch it on. Anything not built yet is listed as not yet, not as coming soon with a logo.

Last reviewed: 23 October 2026, against the product as it ships today.

The short answer

Which tools does Ancor integrate with?

Live today: Microsoft Teams (alerts, approvals from cards, tabs), Slack (alerts), Zoho Books (reads invoices and payments), a TallyPrime export file, Google sign-in, a UPI QR on INR invoices, CSV and Excel import that recognises Asana, Jira, monday.com and Zoho Projects exports, and a direct Microsoft Planner import. A REST API, signed webhooks and an MCP server for AI assistants exist and are switched on per agency on request. Not built yet: WhatsApp, Gmail, two-way Tally sync, IRN e-invoicing, a listed Zapier app and Google Calendar sync.

Team chat

Alerts and approvals where your team already talks.

Two-way

Microsoft Teams Live

Alerts land in the channels an admin routes them to. Approvers get approval requests, timesheet weeks and internal review requests as cards in their chat with the Ancor bot, and can approve or send back from the card; only the named approver, or someone allowed to approve timesheets, can act. A job's chat can mirror to a channel, and messages that mention the bot come back into Ancor. Ancor also opens as a personal tab or as a tab in a channel or chat. Your Teams admin uploads the Ancor app to your tenant; it is not in the Teams Store.

Ancor to Slack

Slack Live

An owner or admin connects a workspace and picks a channel. Ancor posts margin warnings, project overruns, missed milestones, overload warnings and suggestions to bring in a freelancer. It is one way: no slash commands, and nothing typed in Slack comes back into Ancor.

Accounting and payments

Your books stay where your CA keeps them.

Zoho Books to Ancor

Zoho Books Live

Read only. Ancor pulls invoices and payments from Zoho Books, nightly or when you press sync, and records payments against the matching Ancor invoices, so receivables and cash figures agree with your books. It never writes invoices to Zoho. Owners, admins, operations and finance can connect it.

Ancor to Tally, by file

TallyPrime export Live

Export sales vouchers with CGST, SGST and IGST, credit notes and receipts as a TallyPrime "Import Data" XML or a CSV, and your accountant imports the file. There is no live connection to Tally. How the Tally export works.

On INR invoices

UPI QR Live

INR invoices carry a scan-to-pay UPI QR, in the app and in the client portal. There is no payment gateway behind it, so your team marks the invoice paid once the money lands.

Ageing reports

Receivables import Live

Upload an ageing report exported from Tally or Zoho and Ancor turns it into open receivables, so collections start from what the client really owes.

Common questions

The questions worth asking first.

Does Ancor integrate with Microsoft Teams?

Yes. Your Teams admin adds the Ancor app to your tenant (it is a custom app you upload, not a Teams Store listing). Alerts go to the channels you choose, approvers get approval requests and timesheet weeks as cards they can approve or send back from Teams, and Ancor can be opened as a tab in a channel, chat or on its own.

Does Ancor integrate with Slack?

Yes, one way. An owner or admin connects a Slack workspace and picks a channel, and Ancor posts alerts there: margin warnings, project overruns, missed milestones, overload warnings and suggestions to bring in a freelancer. There are no Slack slash commands, and nothing typed in Slack comes back into Ancor.

Does Ancor sync with Zoho Books or Tally?

Zoho Books: yes, one way. Ancor reads invoices and payments from Zoho Books so receivables and cash figures match your books; it does not write invoices back. Tally: Ancor exports invoices, credit notes and receipts as a TallyPrime import file (XML or CSV). There is no live two-way Tally sync.

Can I import my projects from Asana, Jira, monday.com or Microsoft Planner?

Yes. Upload a CSV or Excel export and Ancor recognises Asana, Jira, monday.com and Zoho Projects column layouts, or maps any other sheet column by column. It creates clients, projects and tasks with assignees, dates and estimates. Microsoft Planner can be connected directly to bring in plans, buckets, tasks and checklists. File imports do not bring in logged time.

Does Ancor connect to WhatsApp or Gmail?

No. Ancor does not connect to WhatsApp, Gmail or Outlook mail. Client sign-off happens in the no-login client portal, and team alerts go to Microsoft Teams or Slack.

Does Ancor have an API, webhooks or Zapier?

There is a REST API with scoped, rate-limited API keys, signed outgoing webhooks for seven events, and an MCP server for AI assistants. They are switched on per agency on request, so ask us when you want them. A Zapier app is built on the same API but is not yet listed in the Zapier directory.
